Loch Lomond Whiskies agreed a five year partnership with The R&A, organisers of the Open, in February 2018, and are now the official spirit of The Open. Known as "The One", The Open is the most international of the major championships with qualifying events across five continents.

The Championship is also broadcast to 600 million households in almost 200 countries. The Partnership with the R&A includes supports of the AIG Womens British Open & showcases the full range of Loch Lomond Whiskies around the globe.


After a hugely successful sponsorship activation programme for The 147th Open at Carnoustie in 2018 and The 148th Open at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland in 2019, The Loch Lomond Whiskies team will once again take to the course, this time at Royal St George’s in Kent. Fans can expect to find team members around the course with samples of Loch Lomond 12 year old and a bespoke Loch Lomond Whiskies bar serving the full range of Loch Lomond Whiskies and exclusive cocktails created especially for the week. Whilst in the bar, guests can also take part in a free tasting master classes run by Master Blender Michael Henry and enjoy a series of Q&A sessions hosted by Brand Ambassador Iona Stephens
